Parking at school drop off and pick up

Dear parents and carers
Please find attached a letter from the Holbeach Policing Team regarding parking at drop-off and collection times outside of school. Although we continue to receive complaints, we appreciate that this is caused by a minority of parents; we wish to thank the vast majority of our parents for considering the safety of the children at these very difficult points in the day.
Kind Regards

Christmas Tree Festival

We were delighted to be asked to decorate a tree for the Christmas Tree Festival at All Saints Church. All participants selected a Christmas song to base their design on – we chose our children’s favourite ‘It Was On A Starry Night’. The children from Herons, Owls and Swans created and decorated some beautiful stars, angels and bells. Three trees were chosen by the public and we were delighted to be awarded 1st place! The voucher presented to us will be spent on resources for our school.

Remembrance Poppies

As part of our school’s Courageous Advocacy initiative, Falcons’ Class thought it would be lovely for every child in school to make a poppy, which will be given out to Veterans, as a way of thanking them for their service. The poppies will be handed out to Veterans, who attend the Veteran Support Group in Spalding.

Today, in our Collective Worship, Simon and David (founders of the group) came into school to collect the amazing contributions from the children. Each class used a variety of techniques to make the poppies, including clay, painting, sewing and paper.
